Potkin wins European Championship on tie-break


The tradition has been respected during this 12th edition of the European Championship Individual: a new name was added to the charts: the Vladimir Potkin. The Russian player won in the tiebreaker ahead of Poland Radoslaw Wotjaszek player and Hungarian Judit Polgar. This is the first time in championship history that a woman on the podium!
